Siurgus estate, 230 m above sea level.
SOIL
Clayey-siliceous, tending to looseness, alternating layers of lithosols and sandstone.
GRAPE VARIETIES
Nasco, small amounts of Malvasia di Cagliari.
CLIMATE
Mediterranean, mild winters, limited rainfall, very hot and windy summers.
HARVESTING
By hand, after full ripening of the grapes on the vine.
VINIFICATION TECHNIQUE
Soft pressing, slow fermentation at controlled temperature 22-25 °C in steel vast and subsequent development in barriques.
TASTING NOTES
Colour: Intense straw yellow.
Nose: Very intense primary aromas, distinctly Mediterranean. Terpenic characters
typical of Nasco.
Palate: Round, semisweet or almost sweet, fat, rich flavour recalling the primary aroma.
STORAGE
Constant temperature 18 °C, humidity 75%, controlled light, horizontal bottle.
SERVING
Small, tulip-shaped goblet with slightly flared rim, serving temperature 12 °C.
