The Poliziano estate was founded by Federico’s father, Dino Carletti, in 1961. Since assuming leadership of the family business in 1980, Federico has spent close to three decades undertaking initiatives to continuously achieve the highest quality. Today, Poliziano is a standout among its peers, and its estate-bottled wines are met with acclaim from the world’s most discriminating critics.
The winery is named for famed 15th century poet and scholar Angelo Ambrogini, better known as “Poliziano.” It is Ambrogini’s portrait that appears on each Poliziano label.
